There may be times when you can help often and times when you can't help at all. That's the beauty of PRN. But once you accept and are confirmed, we must be able to depend on you.
PRN opportunities may include covering open shifts, being a second set of hands, supporting caregivers in the field and, when specifically approved, helping train caregivers.

Note: if you'd like to switch to taking an ongoing client, our CNAs are paid $18 an hour.
What we are looking for
- A current CNA certification
- A driver's license and reliable transportation
- At least a year of caregiving experience
- Able to pass a background check and references
How hiring works
After your interview, you can do the rest from home.
- Apply online. About 2 minutes, no uploads. Pick your interview time at the end.
- Meet us in person. A 20-minute interview at our Springfield office. We do not do phone interviews.
- Offer and paperwork. Fill out your new-hire paperwork online. We run your background check and call your references, at no cost to you.
- A 15-minute Orientation Video Call on your phone or computer. We check your ID, set up the AxisCare app with you, and go over your caregiver profile.
- Paid training from home. 2 hours of orientation plus 4 hours of Alzheimer's and dementia training, all paid, on your phone or computer, in pieces if you like.
