Your Care Journey
Choosing home care is one of the harder decisions a family makes, and not knowing what comes next makes it harder. Here is every step, in order, with the timing we hold ourselves to.
Call us, book online, or work through the care assessment first if you'd rather gather your thoughts before speaking to anyone. There is no script and no obligation, and you do not need to know what kind of care you want yet. Most families do not.
A care coordinator contacts you within 24 hours to arrange a visit at a time that suits your family. The consultation happens in the home, because the home is half the picture: the stairs, the bathroom, the lighting, how far the bedroom is from the kitchen.
It is free, and it carries no obligation to book care.
We write a plan for your situation, not a package off a shelf, covering what help is needed, when it is actually needed, and what it will cost. Our rates are posted publicly, so nothing about the number should surprise you.
If another way of paying fits better, we will say so, whether that is Medicaid, VA benefits, or long-term care insurance.
We match on personality, experience, and care needs, not just who happens to be free. Every caregiver is trained on your loved one's care plan before they walk through the door, so they arrive already knowing the preferences and routines that matter.
Once the service plan is in place, care usually starts within 24 to 48 hours, depending on caregiver availability in your area. If your situation is urgent, say so on the first call and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Two people stand behind every care plan, so you are never left wondering who to call.
The person you talk to. They review your situation, run the free in-home consultation, write the care plan, and stay your point of contact afterwards, when needs change or you simply want to talk something through.
The person behind the schedule. They match the caregiver to your loved one, hold the calendar, and arrange coverage when your regular caregiver is away, so a gap in the rota never becomes your problem to solve.
Then we change it. Matching is a judgment, and judgments are sometimes wrong, so we keep checking the fit rather than assuming it held. Tell us it isn't working and we will match someone else.
The same goes for the plan itself. Needs shift, and a plan written in March may be wrong by August. Yours is meant to be rewritten when that happens, not defended.
We serve Greene, Christian, Douglas, Phelps, Taney, and Webster counties. If you are just outside them, call anyway and we will tell you plainly whether we can help or point you to someone who can. See the full service area.
No pressure and no sales script. A real person in Springfield, day or night.
